The rabbit is a very cute and funny animal. In fact, there are no people who don’t like rabbits. Besides, the rabbit is a great drawing object. An artist of all skill levels can handle this very simple guide. Each step is one elementary action. Just follow this and you will get great results!

The look of a bunny's nose may change because of the ability to close ('wiggling'). For the sake of our project, let’s agree that we have a narrow shape with a prominent central part.   1. Sketch the head and the torso

    Firstly, draw two circles to outline the head and body of our bunny.

  2. Sketch the eyes of the rabbit

    Draw two ovals to mark the outlines of the bunny’s eyes. Ovals differ in shape and size due to the perspective.

  3. Sketch bunny cheeks

    Draw the outlines of the bunny’s rounded cheeks. Use smooth dashed lines like in our sample.

  4. Draw bunny ears

    Draw the bunny ears, which look like two oval shapes at the top of the head. Avoid oversized shapes.

  5. Draw the front paws of the rabbit

    The front legs of the bunny appear as small, rounded shapes. Draw it with light lines.

  6. Draw the hind paws of the rabbit

    The hind legs look a little more complex than the front ones, don’t they? In fact, they are just two rounded shapes of different sizes.

  7. Draw the tail of the bunny

    Draw the bunny’s rounded, fluffy tail. Sketch the rounded front part of our pet’s torso

  8. Erase the guidelines

    To give your bunny drawing a finished look, delete all unnecessary guidelines.

  9. Color the bunny drawing

    Don’t forget to paint white highlights inside the black rabbit eyes.

Draw a few more rabbits or other animals if you have a large illustration in mind. You can also add plants and other parts of the landscape.
