Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to AWS and Amazon SDKs as a whole. My team decided to use the Amazon Chime SDKs for Android and iOS and I'm tasked with making a proof of concept application for Android. My problem is that the AudioVideoFacade is not initializing(I think, but not sure). The error I'm getting is:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: dalvik.system.PathClassLoader[DexPathList[,nativeLibraryDirectories=[/data/app/com.example.adastrachime-WciRQa1LqrLqyAtjf3wLkA/lib/x86, /system/lib, /system/product/lib]]] couldn't find 'libc++_shared.so'
I have installed the latest version of NDK (Side-by-Side), CMake and LLDB. I've added the NDK location to my Project Structure. I've followed the instructions in the Android SDK GitHub by the letter and works up until the point I have to initialize the DefaultMeetingSession. My questions are:
1. What versions of NDK, CMake and LLDB is the project using? Does this matter?
2. Am I missing something in the build.gradle files?
I've tried all the solutions in StackOverflow about couldn't find 'libc++_shared.so' and nothing worked. Hope someone can help me
EDIT: The issue is solved. You can find infromation here -> https://github.com/aws/amazon-chime-sdk-android/issues/25

I'm reaching out because many of both your and our clients use ManyCam and Amazon Chime together in their daily work (we've already received a bunch of complaints regarding this). In order to fix this issue, please consider adding 'Disable Library Validation Entitlement' to your app. The Amazon Chime Meeting App for Slack automatically registers new users the first time they use the app so they can start using Amazon Chime without having to create or manage a new account.

Hi team,
My name is Mikhail, I work for ManyCam. We've noticed recently that ManyCam Virtual Webcam is not detected in Amazon Chime, specifically under macOS. This has affected not only ManyCam but all other virtual webcam software as well.

In order to fix this issue, please consider adding 'Disable Library Validation Entitlement' to your app. This will allow your app to load virtual camera plugins. You'll find more information here - https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/entitlements/com_apple_security_cs_disable-library-validation?language=objc
Best,
Mikhail

Hello Mikhail,
We appreciate you taking the time out to share your feedback and want to make sure if it's appropriately looked into.
Please consider posting your feedback with more specific details about the issue, directly from the Chime console, here: https://console.chime.aws.amazon.com/
You'll then need to sign into your account, click on 'Support' from the top-right corner of the console, then select 'Submit request.' This will ensure our Chime Support team is made aware of this for further review.
Regards,
Craig E.

+1 for this. Using Chime (and other platforms) a lot now in these WFH-days. Unfortunately I have to drop Chime for webcasts because the lack of virtual cams.
NDI on Chime for capturing video into for example OBS Studio would also be great.
